As we close in on the final few weeks of 2018, we’re looking back at all the great moments we had this year working with our customers to meet their unified communications and business support needs. From making enhancements to our signature SNAPsolution product to unleashing the first ever B/OSS platform made just for service providers, we can characterize this year with two words: synergistic evolution. Throughout the year, we’ve been laying the groundwork necessary to bring you greater flexibility, mobility and support throughout 2019.
In the summer, we released v39 of SNAPsolution, which greatly increased the level of flexibility and efficiency for managed service providers working to meet their end-users’ communication requirements. With new features like enhanced audio encryption, Google speech transcription and heightened real-time video quality with SNAP.HD, we reinforced SNAPsolution’s position in the market as a reliable, easy-to-use, deployable UCaaS solution. By far, however, our most exciting evolution of the year came in October when we launched SNAPvantage, a ground-breaking cloud-based OSS/BSS solution built for service providers.
As our CEO Anand Buch said, “Our partners have been telling us they need an automated OSS/BSS platform to let them focus on generating revenues.” In fact, throughout the industry, many service providers have had to rely on various disconnected business support products to help them manage their operations; this, of course, has been costly and inefficient. Now, with SNAPvantage and its integration with ConnectWise Manage, they can completely evolve their operations, reduce OPEX and enhance their responsiveness to customer requests.
In addition to rolling out new products, we also made 2018 a year for increasing the amount of quality face-time we spent with you. Through our SNAPshots, one-day collaborative workshops with members of our management team, we criss-crossed the US with stops in California, Texas, Florida and Illinois. We had a great time meeting current and future customers, answering your questions and learning about the new ways in which you could benefit from improved support.
Thinking about improved support, we attended IT Nation this fall – our first time at the show. One of the key takeaways from the event was a strong preference on the part of service providers for products and features-as-a-service. The American market for service providers is truly a competitive one where differentiation is a key factor in success. At netsapiens, we’ve always been on the side of flexibility, offering our Universal Session Licensing to giving customers the choice to bundle and sell UC features as needed to improve their ROI. The good news as we head into the New Year is that we’re already evolving our products and services in a way that will completely redefine flexibility for you, our amazing customers and partners.
At this point, it’s totally going to be a New Year surprise and we can’t spoil it. But stay tuned for an exciting 2019 with some big announcements coming down the pipeline! We hope you have had a great year and, as usual, reach out to us with your comments or questions. Happy Holidays to all!
