UGM Postponed: Your Safety is Our Priority

Hello netsapiens Community,
I hope this letter finds you well, safe, and sound. This has been an unprecedented few weeks of uncertainty both personally and professionally for all of us. I appreciate the patience and understanding of the entire community while we determined the best course of action given the current circumstances.

I am writing to inform you the annual User Group Meeting is officially postponed. We will be now targeting our San Diego event for Q3 of this year at the same location. We are also planning a virtual meeting with an abridged version of some of our UGM programming to take place during the original time period beginning April 21st with more details to come.

Collectively, we serve well over a million users with communication services that will become of greater significance and value in the weeks ahead. As people are asked or required to separate from one another in physical environments, you will be there with the technology to keep them connected. With this in mind, it would be against our values to put the netsapiens community in any sort of danger.

In the face of a global crisis, it is important that we stand together, if not in person, always in our joint mission. We ask that you give us some time to coordinate with our vendors, sponsors, and internal team to put together a plan on how to proceed. Please know that we are working diligently to provide you the best possible results, and we have your best interests in mind.

In conclusion, I can’t help but share the continued excitement that builds with respect to our community as a whole. You all have contributed to our continued growth and it’s uncertain times like this where I find having a positively impactful professional ‘distraction’ can also be quite therapeutic. Clearly, the need for what we are all building and providing can never be more apparent than during these challenging times.

This phase too will pass and I look forward to the stories we will tell about what we learn from this episode in our collective journeys.

Stay Safe,
Anand Buch
