Digital marketing has become a central focus for any modern organization. The ability to reach a targeted audience and measure the effectiveness of these efforts is undeniable. You would think the hundred of trade show lanyards hanging on my wall would be considered ancient artifacts of the past. So, how did I find myself at another live event like ITEXPO 2020? The answer is in something that hasn’t yet been replicated in a digital form: the value of in-person connections.
ITEXPO 2020 Growth Over Previous Shows
ITEXPO attendees hold over $8 billion in combined buying power. Two thirds of those attendees are purchasing influencers and final decision makers. I would also say there were 50% more booths at this year's show than previous shows. Likewise, the netsapiens ecosystem is highly represented within these statistics which means we are able to easily educate others about the power of our combined solutions. We found ourselves speaking with service providers looking for a new UC&C platform, new hardware, and seeking advice from someone who has already found success with our SNAPsolution. At ITEXPO, we could introduce them to our partners and clients just a few steps away! Because we were working together, we were able to create a valuable networking community right there on the show floor. This type of ecosystem engagement is an integral part of any company’s success.
The quality of in-person interactions also extended to the sessions offered in the ITEXPO 2020 agenda. Peer group panels and service provider customers brought a wealth of experience from across the tech industry to each audience. Additionally, one of our partners, Poly presented some amazing thought leadership. Their research showed 95% of conferences are still audio-only (only 4.8% include video). They showed an emphasis being paid to huddle rooms which are expected to grow five times to over 70% of the market within the next couple of years.
Another key fact that caught my attention is the average company uses three or more different Unified Communications & Collaboration solutions in any given day. This is something we have seen in our market space as well which promoted our efforts over the last year to add state of the art collaboration tools into our Unified Communications solution. Imagine having the same value and features as your leading solutions from Zoho, Gotowebinar etc and all under one umbrella of our SNAPsolution without having to pay the prices of the big guys! (Our customers will not have to imagine for much longer.)
